Rs. 414K granted for 20 students towards tuition fees (Academic year 2025-2026)

With generous support and outreach we were able to support more people. For the Academic Year 2025-2026, we funded tuition fees for 20 students totalling to Rs. 414K.

Closed the Academic year 2025-2025 with Rs. 310K

Glad to report that for the Academic year 2024-2025, Rs. 3,10,000 of grants were awarded. One student from the cohort will be graduating as B.E from a good college in Chennai and another Girl for 1st place in B.Sc. in her college.

Update on Operations (Academic year 2023-2024)

Disbursed Rs.340K in grants for 15 students,
6 students from Class 1-8, 5 students from Class 9-12, and 4 students from graduation received over 75% of the tuition fees

Contributions and grants (2022-2023):

In the 1st four months, we received Rs.282,000 as contribution and have disbursed Rs.206,000 towards school fees for 9 applicants. In the same period, we had to turn down 4 requests as they either did not meet the criteria or could not provide the appropriate documents.

We made our 1st grant disbursement

We are delighted to make our 1st set of grant disbursements of Rs. 30,000 each to two deserving candidates. The applications were thoroughly scrutinized and approved by the Executive Committee – a small but important milestone in the operations.

Received 1st non-trustee contribution

Navikrta received its 1st contribution of Rs. 5,000 from a person who is not part of the management of the Trust.

Trustees setup Executive Committee

The Trustees' resolve to setup an Executive Committee with effect from November 1, 2021. The Executive Committee comprises of small number of like-minded individuals with proven experience and interest in social welfare.

Navikrta Charitable Foundation setup

Navikrta Charitable Foundation set up as public charitable trust on August 1, 2021. The Trust was registered with the regional government agencies on September 16, 2021.
